Solar Engineer

Inzonn is looking to on board a “Solar Engineer” in its core team. The successful candidate would be responsible for the following-

Use industry standard software’s like AutoCAD, VirtoCAD, Helioscope etc. to design optimized PV ground and rooftop systems for residential, C&I or Utility scale projects.

Create optimal SLD's, module layouts, string plans, cable trajectory plans, trench plans, inverter racking/mounting layouts, earthing plans, sensor and monitoring plans, substructure/ballast plans, etc. as required.

Carry out cable and short circuit calculations as per applicable norms.

Run PVsyst simulations for system production estimates.

Comply with stakeholder requirements in executing the designs.

Build detailed bill of materials (BOM) based on the design.

Prepare project documentation as required.

Provide engineering support to the client for different phases of a project like sales, engineering, procurement, construction and asset management.

Support and coordinate with different stakeholders like Owners, Project Developers, EPC’s, and Asset Managers, during the project lifecycle, with their engineering needs and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements & qualification:

B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or similar engineering discipline.

1-3 years experience in a solar design/engineering or similar role.

Good technical understanding of PV Systems.

Experience with BESS and Medium Voltage design is an added bonus.

Basic understanding of financials to have a techno-commercial approach to designing/engineering.

Excellent communication skills to help with assertive interaction and consultation with the client and stakeholders.

Available to work at the current company location. A hybrid mode of working can be arranged upon mutual agreement.
