Introduction:

Our client seeks an IT PM for a long-term program supporting an IC customer in McLean, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI full-scope polygraph clearance.

The PM will support the IC customer’s initiative by providing technical planning, project coordination, risk management, and customer collaboration. The role will also involve supporting Agile development and ensuring project schedules and standards compliance.

Role:

Support the development of a strategy to define the program’s technical direction

Participate in development of technical project plans, reports, and contract briefings

Define processes and procedures to ensure secure and reliable systems and services

Identify and track program action items, ongoing projects, and technical risks

Assist in assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirements

Collaborate with customers and leadership to set priorities and provide compliant deliverables

Support a variety of customers and candidates through technical consultation and meeting coordination

Tailor project management and systems engineering fundamentals in complex environments

Optimize work processes within the operations and support functions of the systems lifecycle Communicate effectively across programs and with clients, stakeholders, and other candidates

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in tailoring project management and systems engineering fundamentals in complex environments.

Demonstrated experience in optimizing work processes within the operations and support functions of the systems lifecycle.

Demonstrated experience providing program planning and coordination support.

Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating (verbally and in writing) across programs and with clients, stakeholders, and other Candidates.

Demonstrated experience managing priorities across multiple projects.

Strong Microsoft Office skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.

Demonstrated experience facilitating and supporting Agile (Scrum or Kanban) activities.

Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

Nice to Have:

Demonstrated experience supporting the technical processing of vetting support requests for analytical comparison against the Customer’s holdings.

Demonstrated experience with computer processing platforms such as computers, mobile, and I.O.T., using that knowledge in a clustered computing environment.

Demonstrated experience supporting the development of big data software applications.

Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager/Team Lead of an IC technical team.
