Automotive Service Advisor

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Chrysler Service Advisor at Bob Valenti Auto Group is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients in need of service and maintenance for their Chrysler vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Mystic, Connecticut. The Service Advisor will receive a competitive compensation package including a base salary and the opportunity to earn commission.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Base salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 per year

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist clients in a friendly and professional manner

- Listen to customer concerns and accurately enter information into computer system

- Schedule service appointments and inform clients of any necessary repairs or maintenance

- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services

- Provide clients with estimates and explanations of service costs and options

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention

- Utilize sales techniques to promote additional services and products

- Maintain accurate records of services provided and customer information

- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

- Stay up-to-date on Chrysler vehicle models, features, and maintenance recommendations

- Comply with dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, preferably in the auto industry

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and handle high-volume environments

- Proficient in computer systems and software (CDK experience Preferred)

- Knowledge of Chrysler vehicles and their maintenance requirements

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
