Store Manager at Fort Mill

Job Description

Area 51 Fireworks is seeking an individual with 2 years of experience (minimum) as a store manager. This individual will be responsible for managing the retail store, as well as the department supervisors, as well as hiring and training new employees when necessary. The store manager is responsible for ensuring their staff provides excellent customer service as well as monitors the financial performance of the store.

Responsibilities of the Manager:

· Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff

· Creating and Managing budgets

· Managing “in-house” receivables, counting money in real-time

· Resolving customers queries and complaints

· Overseeing stock control

· Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff

· Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

· Ensuring company policies are followed

· Developing promotional materials and displays (advertising/marketing)

· Researching and identifying growth opportunities

· Competition Awareness

· Liaising with other department heads and GM

Skills & Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· Associates Degree (Preferred)

· MUST have 2+ years experience as a supervisor/manager

· Valid driver’s license

· Excellent Customer Service Skills

· Leadership Skills

· Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities

· Verbal Communication Skills

· Ability to maintain a customer-focused environment

· Able to work collaboratively as part of a team

· Willing to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and be on call as needed
