Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Double L Enterprises is looking to hire an applicant willing to jump in and get the job done, whether that be as a machine operator, manual laborer, truck driver or repairs. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Operating lead, low boy, dump truck, dozer, excavator, front end loader and roll-off truck.

Deliver and pick up equipment and material

Ability to work on a variety of projects such as: driveways, septic systems, demolitions, foundations, basements, retaining walls, hauling material and more.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Perform daily pre and post trip inspections, maintenance and fueling of equipment.

Ensure professional, safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment at all times.

Courteously interact with customers and/or the general public.

Know and follow all company safety policies as well as OSHA, MIOSHA, MSHA and ANSI regulations.

Able to perform duties and responsibilities with little to no supervision.

Receive and follow written or oral instructions.

Perform manual labor to prepare or finish sites, such as shoveling materials by hand.

Practice safety at all times including driving of company vehicles and operation of company equipment.

Use PPE while on jobsite including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility clothing, steel toe boots, pants and gloves.

Take initiative and anticipate what needs to be done.

Work in conjunction and as a team with your crew.

May assist other craft workers.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan class A operator’s license.

Ability to read and interpret a map legend or GPS to locate service addresses.

Mechanical skills highly beneficial.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
