Director of Licensing and Regulation

Mt. Laurel, NJ Corporate Office - Hybrid role

As the Director of Licensing and Regulation, you are responsible for all licensing and regulatory requirements for de novos and acquisition projects. This involves developing and maintaining relationships with licensing and regulatory authorities in the state in which Pinnacle operates and in a new state identified for growth. It will also involve working internally with operations, finance, legal, real estate, development, and all stakeholders to facilitate the application process and to ensure efforts are coordinated internally for all de novos, acquisitions or changes to existing programs. This position will also be responsible for keeping the internal team informed and up to date on all licensing and regulatory issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Three (3) years of relevant experience preferably in behavioral healthcare

Proven experience in developing and maintaining networking strategies;

Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier. This role is required to drive for company purposes.

• Travel is limited but as needed (approximately 1-3 overnights per quarter) to supervise teammates and assist in state meetings.

Preferred:

Master’s degree with experience working in compliance, policy, or licensing

At least 1-year experience in an Opioid Treatment Program preferred

Responsibilities:

Obtain and review regulations for new de novo sites.

Keep the organization aware of regulatory changes and work with all departments to ensure public comments and changes to policies are implemented.

Submit and track State applications for the RTCs (Residential Treatment Center), OTPs, PHP/IOP and OBOTS (Office-Based Opioid Treatment) as needed.

Submit and track state / facility specific programs (DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration), Medicaid, BOP, etc. for RTCs, PHP/IOP, OTPs and OBOTs (Office-Based

Opioid Treatment).

Develop relationships with local and government agencies and vendors.

Oversee licensing and regulatory requirements related to acquisitions.

Assist Ops and PTC (Pinnacle Treatment Center) Grant Writer with RFPs (Request for Proposals) and grants for RTCs and OTPs when available.

Research potential new sites and present information with the development team to senior management.

Participate in weekly team calls.

Manage overall licensing and regulatory personnel and processes.

Other duties as assigned.
