Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer

Contract Duration: 6 months, extendable

Location: Toronto, 1 Day a week, Fridays

Summary:

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions. Key responsibilities include automating deployment processes, adopting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, monitoring and logging, ensuring security and compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- 3-5+ years of coding experience with any tech stack; front-end technology preferred

- Experience with automation using CDK platform for AWS & Azure

- Proficiency in Linux, Python, JavaScript, Node.JS, Typescript, Docker, and AWS

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

- Knowledge of AWS CDK, Azure, CI/CD, GitHub Action, Jenkins, Kubernetes

- Front-end coding technologies as a strong suite

- Fundamental knowledge of servers and infrastructure

- Familiarity with Nodejs & Python

- Experience in creating automation using CDK for AWS & Azure platforms

- Understanding of Docker & cloud infrastructures
