Your mission, your role?

As a SR&ED/Grants Technical Consultant, and under the supervision of your manager, you will have a true role as an advisor and partner to your clients. In this capacity, you will bring them your expertise in innovation and R&D financing strategy and actively participate in the development of a cross-functional approach to activate all public funding opportunities of interest to them. You will manage a client portfolio from A to Z. You will have to analyze the eligibility of the projects and evaluate technical aspects, risks, and technological advancements, always following manuals and procedures to comply with the tax incentives and grants requirements.

Your main responsibilities:

Carrying out technical interviews with clients to identify the SR&DE/innovative nature of their projects.

Ensuring the completion of missions, according to the defined deadlines, and the established workload plan with the team.

Identifying optimization opportunities for processes and results.

Identifying and advising clients on the other financing programs they may be eligible for (grants, subsidies, tax credits, etc.).

Gathering data related to their investments and calculating the amount of SR&ED tax credits and innovation grants.

Writing technical and economic reports to highlight the scientific aspects of the project.

Provide advice and assistance to clients.

Take part in internal and external meetings with clients.

Requirements:

DCS Diploma or degree Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.

1-2 years of related work experience

Full Bilingual (French/ English)

Proficient in delivering presentations, fostering interpersonal relationships, active listening, effective written and verbal communication skills.

It will be an asset if you have:

Specialization in the field (research credit experience preferred, but not required)

Accounting knowledge
