R500 000 R700 000 Per Annum Negotiable on Qualification and Years of Relevant Experience

Global Engineering firm is currently expanding and in search of highly dependable and effective Data Reporting Analyst to be responsible for the design and development of their reporting environment whilst being in collaboration with their global team of professionals on the different layers of infrastructure.

You are a highly driven, self-motivated, analytical and collaborative problem solver with a view to seeing business process optimisation effectively developed and streamlined.

This role will report into the COO and / or the Structures Discipline Lead:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the division

Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy

Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout

Accurately analyse and collect data for several types of business reports

Create business reports that provide insight into key data points

Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis

Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends

Qualification, Skills and Experience required:

Bachelors or related Degree in Computer Science Statistics Information Systems

Minimum 5 Years relevant data analysis reporting experience gained in SQL (complex views and stored procedures) with experience in implementing reporting solutions

Above experience being gained within a multi-national or global corporate

Proficiency in PowerBI (DAX) with good knowledge of its ecosystems and the ability to write Stored Procedures to prepare for reporting

Solid MS Excel proficiency (pivots and VB)

Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to co-workers

Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions

General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
