Responsibilities:
Ensuring efficient and effective operations, management, and motivation of all production staff
Planning and organising production schedules
Assessing project and resource requirements
Monitoring productivity rates and product standards and improvement programs
Negotiating and agreeing production budgets and timescales with managers
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
Overseeing constant improvement of production processes
Re-negotiating production timescales or schedules as necessary
Selecting materials according to correct BOM per product
Forecasting raw material needs
Liaising with supply chain manager, Inbound, outbound and sales staff to support customer service
Reviewing worker performance and identifying training needs and organising relevant training sessions
Responsible for HR issues in the plant
Working with other managers to implement the company's policies and goalsRequirements
3-year diploma/degree or equivalent in operation or factory management
Min 5 years experience in a senior role in operations/factory management
Min 3 years experience in cost management
