Requirements:
CA(SA).
7 to 10 years commercial experience, in Retail, FMCG, or Financial Services an advantage.
IFRS Expertise and Reporting.
Strong International consolidations and treasury/banking exposure.
Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel proficiency.
SAP experience is also advantageous.Responsibilities:
Take charge of Group Reporting and Treasury:
Lead and guide the Head Office finance department;
Manage IFRS compliance, press releases and audited Annual Financial Statements;
Review the Profit and Cash Flow Forecast submitted by Operations;
Complete the Group ITR14 Return, including International tax and S9D implications;
Prepare group Annual Financial Statements;
Prepare Head Office budget and consolidate with group Budget Pack;
Authorise online banking payments;
Conduct relevant research to produce a comprehensive analysis of a trade area;
Submit instructions relating to year-end, budgeting and taxation and manage process;
Liaise with internal and external auditors;
Assist with internal audit of the groups entities;
Review legal agreements for tax implications/accounting entries required;
Review accounting and tax implications for share options and share buybacks (treasury shares);
Deal with ad hoc requests from CFO for analysis relating to Reporting or Treasury;
Review and update banking facility letters and ensure adequacy of limits;
Work with Investor Relations Head to assist on investor queries;
Manage ad hoc projects.Key Skills and Competencies:
