Job Description: We are currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Line Cooks at Ontario Inc.

This position is integral to our kitchen operations, involving the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes to ensure quality and consistency in every meal served.

Job Location: Canada Salary: $20.00 -$25.00 hr Job Position: Lmia Line cook Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Part-Time, 40-60 hours per week Education: High School or Diploma Degree Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

This may include grilling, sautéing, frying, baking, and other cooking techniques to produce appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

Station Management: Manage a specific station or area of the kitchen, coordinating with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient production of food orders.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in your assigned station, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients and supplies.

Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation throughout the cooking process, ensuring that dishes meet our standards for taste, appearance, and texture.

Taste and adjust seasonings as needed to achieve the desired flavor profile.

Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and cooking temperatures.

Follow HACCP principles and procedures to minimize the risk of foodborne illness and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team, including chefs, sous chefs, and prep cooks, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.

Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate tasks and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications: LMIA approval for Line Cook position.

Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred.

Knowledge of cooking techniques, culinary principles, and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
