TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Bilingual Maintenance Mechanic for a company located in Sugar Land, TX 77477 area.

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform maintenance support in current facility/machineries improvement and development. Duties include but not limited to: machinery equipment maintenance, general maintenance management, working with engineers to identify mechanical problems and provide solutions to the problems

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Build, assemble, and fix production machines and equipment, in accordance with sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers' specifications.

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance.

Repair and fix electrical equipment.

Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical and electrical equipment and component devices in the operation; use precision measuring and testing instruments; etc.

Inspect used parts to ensure safe production.

Repair and replace defective parts.

Follow the lockout/tagout program.

Record all repair and maintenance activities.

Tasks assigned by managers but not including to the above functions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Minimum 2 years of progressive mechanic or technical experience preferred in a manufacturing or similar setting.

2-year technical degree with equivalent work-related experience preferred.

Experience in general metal fabrication, welding and machining is a plus, basic knowledge of PLC.

Make sound mechanical judgments during preventive and corrective equipment maintenance.

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good computer proficiency: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends and different shift based on departmental needs

Compensation:

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday Friday, 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM OR 4:30 PM- 12:00 AM
