Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Estimator/ Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Perform inspections for repairs/ mitigation estimating as needed
Consulting with customers, adjusters and affiliates as needed
Creating scopes of work, estimates, photo sheets and necessary paperwork for mitigation/repair jobs
Writing initial estimates, revisions, and supplements as needed and updating status in appropriate portals and files
Following up with status of approvals up until billing
Communicating with adjusters/customers as needed during the course of review/approval
Reviewing estimates at the completion of project to ensure accuracy
Communicating with all necessary parties both internal and external in order to streamline assignments/jobs
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Previous experience in property insurance preferred
Experience with estimating in Xactimate and Symbility
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
