Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety

Position Summary:

Quality technicians verify processes and manufacturing instructions to produce quality products that meet customers’ requirements. Executes established procedures in verifying and assuring quality processes and manufacturing standards. Performs data collection, analysis, and data verification.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in maintaining customer drawings and specifications.

2. Daily inspection of material being produced. Record data and information collected from inspection in computer/laptops.

3. Perform Incoming product inspections.

4. Inform QA Supervisor and/or Director of Quality of any quality issues.

5. Special projects to be assigned as the need arises.

6. Completes HOLD, REWORK tags.

7. Ensure all finished products meet specifications.

8. Ability to edit all quality inspection sheets.

Qualifications:

1. Working knowledge of measurement techniques.

2. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system.

3. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while accurately and efficiently completing work in a timely manner.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

5. Ability to communicate techniques to employees.

6. Ability to operate Raytech.

7. 1-3 year as a Quality Tech 1

8. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while accurately and Post Secondary Education.

9. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

10. Analytical problem solving skills.

11. Ability to learn and develop quickly through personal initiative.

12. Organized, enthusiastic and self motivated

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for an extended period of time.

2. Some minimal lifting required.

3. Ability to work on the computer for an extended time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
