Welder - Temporary Assignment

Job Description

We are seeking a 60 Day Assignment Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

***Candidate must be able to come in and hit the ground running with high welding skill sets***

Responsibilities:

Follow blueprints to meet product specifications

Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Ability to perform this work proficiently at a fast pace

Reading and understanding blueprints/job specifications

Measuring and cutting material to specifications

Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together

Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances

Selecting, measuring, cutting and joining appropriate metals to specifications

Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage

Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools

Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields

Familiarity with welding tools and procedures

Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics

Ability to handle physical workload

Reliable/Dependable

Able to correctly read a tape measure

Minimum 1-year experience MIG Welding

Minimum 6-months welding Flux core/duel shield-Added by AH

Ability to perform manual labor

Ability to perform work proficiently at a fast pace

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor

3G certification or higher preferredCompany Description
