Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Engineer (Imaging & Configuration) to join our growing IT department. This role is a perfect blend of technical expertise and user-centric support, focusing on maintaining a healthy and secure desktop environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:

Manage the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Dell PCs and Apple MacBooks using industry-standard tools and automation scripts.

Implement and maintain a comprehensive patching strategy to ensure all endpoints are up-to-date with the latest security fixes and software updates.

Leverage monitoring tools to proactively identify and troubleshoot endpoint issues, minimizing user downtime.

Develop and maintain documentation for endpoint management processes and procedures.

Collaborate with diverse teams, including Help Desk, Security, and Desktop Engineering, to ensure seamless endpoint support and incident resolution.

Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new endpoint management technologies and tools.

Maintain a strong understanding of best practices for Dell PC and Apple Mac security configurations.

Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics on endpoints.

Assist with user migration and device refreshes as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a desktop support or related IT role.

Proven experience with creating and maintaining Windows OS images using tools like SCCM or MDT.

Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and other endpoint security solutions.

Experience with configuration management tools like SCCM, InTune, ConnectWise, or Puppet.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users of varying technical backgrounds.

Experience with NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance requirements

Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

Experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) technologies.

Strong understanding of ITIL best practices.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:$105,716.00-159,365.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
