Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant with our practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the seamless delivery of high quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Assist Providers during medical examinations and with patient intake and coordination of care
Prepare patients for evaluation by obtaining vital signs, medication updates etc
Performing clinical tasks such as EKGs, PFTs, data download
Using EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and interim patient care
Provide patient education and answering questions as required
Assist with administrative tasks as required.Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
Graduation with certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Two years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a private practice seting
Proficiency in clinical procedures including vital sign measurement,
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) preferred.
