Inventory Lead Associate

LightFire is actively seeking a Lead Associate to join our team, embodying unwavering professionalism and unmatched precision. We are looking for individuals with exceptional math and observation skills to take on this role. The Associate will collaborate closely with our management team, participating in the enhancement of existing procedures and policies, loss prevention efforts, and occasional heavy lifting tasks. The role encompasses various responsibilities including inbound receiving, facility maintenance, ensuring inventory records' accuracy, conducting product counts, and supervising associated processes.

An accomplished Inventory Associate should possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills, a solid grasp of fundamental computer applications, and the ability to excel both autonomously and in a team setting. Ideal candidates will come equipped with prior inventory experience and mid-level management exposure.

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

*Applicants must be adaptable to accommodate shifts before and after the scheduled shift, and remain open to weekend availability based on business requirements.

*Compensation will be discussed exclusively with the hiring manager and will be commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Management on warehouse layout adjustments and shelf location resizing.

Partner with Management to enhance warehouse efficiency through optimized product strategies.

Oversee and/or execute warehouse replenishment tasks.

Collaborate with purchasing and Warehouse Management to identify and relocate slow-moving products as necessary.

Assist in training less-experienced inventory staff.

Execute inventory consolidation and inventory location optimization as required.

Requirements:

Proven cycle counting experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Google Docs.

Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Familiarity with WM systems and expertise in product movement within these systems.

2 to 3 years' experience in a high-volume pick, pack, and ship distribution environment.

Demonstrated capability to effect adjustments within a WMS.

Self-starter with strong independent work capabilities.

Exceptional attention to detail and math skills.

Observational and detail-oriented mindset.

Strong team collaboration skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Effective communication with peers and management.
