Technology Quoting Specialist - Grand Rapids MI or Southfield MI

Job Description

Applied Innovation is seeking a Quoting Specialist to join our Technology division at our Grand Rapids office location. Our Technology division is focused on providing excellent customer service in the managed IT field. This position will be responsible for preparing quotes for technology products, professional services, software licensing, and cloud services based on information provided by our technicians. This is a Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM position located in Grand Rapids, MI or in our Southfield MI office.

Southfield, MI office address: 24050 Northwestern Hwy, Southfield, MI 48075

Responsibilities:

Create client quotes for hardware, software, and services based on needs as determined by technicians and solutions team.

Complete vendor deal registrations as needed.

Understand software licensing requirements for major vendors (Microsoft, Adobe, VMware, etc.)

Request quotes from approved vendors to get best pricing.

Track subscription renewals and send renewal quotes.

Update and document processes and ensure consistent use.

Requirements Include:

Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software.

Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.

Well-developed analytic and problem-solving skills.

Excellent listening, communication, and writing skills.

Ability to successfully manage time.

Commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Desire to learn vendor deal registration processes.

Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Minimum 3 years of IT administration experience.
