Tool Room Attendant

Job Description

PDQ Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual to join our Shipping Department as a Construction/Tool Room Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging our products for shipment, requiring basic construction skills and the ability to use small hand tools.

Location: West Fort Worth

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM

Pay: $16.00/ hr

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging products for shipment by cutting down cardboard boxes to size or building crates out of plywood based on the size of the items

General warehouse upkeep and maintenance, including changing air filters and daily clean up in the designated area

Qualifications:

Experience in construction or a similar field

Ability to read dimensions and build something to fit a particular size

Strong conceptual understanding of space and size

Ability to use small hand tools effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment

Experience with building crates or packaging materials for shipment
