In an ever-changing, fast paced world, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to live life responsibly. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.

Join us and make a difference!

Your future team:

Group R&D are passionate, knowledgeable, and skilled employees who create next-generation technology. The building industry will change significantly in the coming years: Requirements for insulation will go up, the building processes will be more industrialized, and suppliers will, to a higher extent, supply systems instead of standardized products. The ROCKWOOL Group is in an excellent position to lead and influence this development. But we need your help.

Stone wool solutions and systems have potential to improve comfort, indoor climate, energy efficiency, building cost and sustainability more than any other building material – and you will have a central role in realizing this potential by developing our new products and building systems. We work in dedicated project teams with well-defined goals and a high degree of trust and empowerment.

What you will be doing:

We are looking for a highly motivated specialist with extensive knowledge about building processes and traditions. As a specialist your primary task will be to provide specialist knowledge to activities and projects in the R&D portfolio. Having close corporation with the patent team to secure ideas, as well as Group Marketing and local organizations will also be a big part of your job. You will get the opportunity to work in all phases of the development process from the idea phase to final implementation in sales organizations primarily in Europe. You should expect around 40 travel days a year.

You thrive in an environment where there are more questions than answers. You see possibilities in the unknown. You are motivated by being part of a team which creates new and innovative solutions that can change the state-of-the-art.

What you bring:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or similar

3 + years’ experience ideally from industry (building materials)

Theoretically and practical strength in building processes and materials

Theoretical skills and the ability to combine theory and practice.

Experience and knowledge about BIM would be an advantage.

As a person:

Self-driven but still a team player

Good corporation skills across organization and boarders

Customer focus – identify their needs and develop suitable solutions.

Innovative and result-oriented

Intercultural experience and strong in both written and spoken English

We know that you might not meet all the things on this list, but you might bring skills and experience that we haven’t even included here.

What we offer:

By joining our team, you become a part of the people-centric work environment of a Danish company. We offer you a competitive salary, permanent contract after the probation period, development package, team building events, activity-based office in Poznan’s city center in the new prestigious office building – Nowy Rynek.

Our compensation package on employment contracts includes:

Hybrid work model (3 days in the office and 2 days home office)

Home office subsidy

Private Medical Care

Multikafeteria MyBenefit

Wellbeing program

Extra Day Off for voluntary activities

… and while in the office you can also use modern office space with beautiful view and high standard furniture, bicycle parking facilities & showers, chill-out rooms with PlayStation, football table, pool table, board games, subsidized canteen with delicious food & fruit.

Our Poznań office is located in a prestigious office building – Nowy Rynek. The building is recognized as a building without barriers, which means that it is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
