Job title - Assistant Manager - Microwave - IP & Carrier Ethernet (Ericsson - Mini Link)

Location: Chennai / Pune

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

Minimum of 6+ years relevant experience in Telecommunications Engineering with experience in a managerial/supervisor Knowledge

Graduation in Telecommunications/ Electronics

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Proficient in reading, writing & speaking of English Language

Working Hours:

These might differ based on customer requirements and shift pattern.

24x7 Shift (Majorly Australian Shift timing 1:30 AM, 3:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 4:30 PM)

Ericsson ENM, BMC Remedy, CPNR – Cisco Prime Network Registrar, MASA- Cisco License Generator

WinFiol/Secure CRT, Appian, CNC - Cisco Crosswork Network Controller, NGDM

ELIS / CORA, IPACT, EPNM – Cisco Evolved Programmable Network Manager, TSI sharepoint folder.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Ericsson BB 66xx/RP 66xx integration & Troubleshooting

Ericsson eNB/gNB upgrade and integration, which covers Software Upgrades, Cell configuration, neighbour list preparation etc.

Migration of Customers from existing eNB to temporary setup, and migration of customers from temporary setup to upgraded eNB/gNB setup, including Pre-Post checks.

Coordinating with the field team for VSWR Test, Optics Test and RF Validation testing

4G & 5G Throughput testing.

Decommissioning of temporary setup.

Ericsson RRU / AIR

Key Responsibilities

CISCO Transmission (TX) & Ericsson Mini Link domain activities:

Large Wireless Router (Cisco) and Small Wireless Router (Cisco) integration, migration, and configuration

Ericsson Mini-Link chassis or Network Processor Unit (NPU) swap or migration

Base Band Port Expansion from 1Gig to 10Gig.

Transmission Node link upgrades, with multiple configurations.

Upgrades completed as per program schedules, to the committed volumes and expectation of tight timeframes.
