Business Development Specialist, Wind Energy

Key responsibilities:

Support the Wind business development team with techno/commercial input to customer specifications, presentations and discussions.

Map the technical requirements of key stakeholders required for our product and solution offerings. This is specially relevant to Hempel’s product leadership groups such as AvantGuard, Hempaprime strength 530 etc.

Key tasks:

Contribute to the ADP’s for the major stakeholders in the Wind segment aimed at increasing sales volumes in the region capitalizing on the brand value for achieving overall consistent & stable growth in revenue.

Developing smart specifications to ensure Hempel is well specified in the segment and with the targeted accounts while working closely with Sales Team.

Be the product expert within commercial for wind product leadership products

Accountable for performing in-depth market research and competition analysis in wind segment.

Support in preparing reports and presentations as required to both internal and external stakeholders.

Support marketing strategies & promotional events & activities for increased brand awareness and demand.

Educating, creating awareness and communicating –current scenarios, opportunities and way forward for wind segment to relevant internal stakeholders regularly

Sharing of Projects & Technical Learning within the team.

Provide inputs to BD for Conducting weekly, monthly & quarterly reviews to support sales team achieving its sales targets

Required education, experience and job-related skills:

Bachelor in Engineering or Business

Post Graduation in Engineering & Management – Preferred not mandatory

Exposure to Wind segment

At least 8 years of overall experience & minimum of 5 years of exposure to the protective paint and coatings industry and Wind offerings
