Job Title: Assembly Line Operator

Location: Chennai, India

Salary: 13,000 - 15,000 per month

Job Overview: We are seeking a diligent and efficient Assembly Line Operator to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly of products with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards and production deadlines.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain assembly line equipment and machinery, ensuring smooth operation.

Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.

Review and follow assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.

Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and comply with all safety and health regulations.

Inspect and test completed units to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts immediately to the supervisory team.

Assist in inventory management and suggest reordering of supplies when necessary.

Continuously monitor conveyor systems and clear jams as required.

Essential Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; further technical or vocational training preferred.

Proven experience as an assembly line operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.
