Job Description
We are looking for an HR Person to bring into our company, We want this person to be comfortable with all the items below and have at least 2 years of experience in HR.
-Managing Job descriptions & hiring postings, Payroll onboarding, offer sheets and all documentation organization.
-Manage verifying deductions for all benefits through payroll company
-Manage and verify all garnishment and child support claims
- Manage w-2 distributions, employment verifications paystub requests
- Storage and organization of historical payroll data from previous and current payroll processors
-Managing our PTO policy, going through weekly schedules and accounting for time off or additional PTO days
-processing sw management payroll and providing documents and numbers to update the controller
-being Payroll support for each store, gaining a comprehensive knowledge of paychex
-Complete unemployment claims
-Completes workforce service audits
-complete insurance audits
-complete workforce services insurance claims
-Working with GMs and Insurance broker to manage our Workman’s comp claims for the best possible outcome
-managing a return to work program.
-Chasing down doctors and health provers for updates and working ability clarification
-Communicate with state agencies through correspondence portal
-ensure that updated docs, and handbooks are signed by employees
- review frequently that employees are properly termed across all companies
-Be an asset for managers on handling certain situations
-Ensure that proper documentation is occurring for disciplinary actions both through private communication and manager log notes. And getting all that data into paychex.
-Provide reports on employee retention, average pay, benefit participation and costs associated with each type of insurance.
- manage 401k eligibility and track that data.
- Provide in store training for managers on conflict resolution and documentation. What we can and can’t do.
- Protecting brand in general compliance of all things above.
- being current on new laws that impact our industry and updating handbook accordingly.
