At Huntington Learning Center (dba Dalgaard & Associates), we are a leader in the educational service industry. Since 1977, we have provided core learning essentials: reading, writing, math (STEM in general) and specific areas of tutor support. We work hand-in-hand with the teachers of K through 12, to help students at all levels achieve their objectives. We also help students prep for ACT/SAT exams.

For success as a Learning Center Manager, you should have:

1-3 years of Management, Customer Service, Sales or Education experience preferred

An enthusiastic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality

Motivation to take the initiative to ensure that a student’s time at Huntington is memorable.

Outstanding communication skills are a must

A confident and flexible demeanor

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of self-motivation

The Center Manager responsibilities include:

Monitor the Center's daily activity. Manage front-end administrative office

Hire, train, schedule and supervise part-time teachers.

Review student programs and ensure academic achievement - Instruct students.

Participate in local marketing activities to help grow the business.

Conducting monthly follow-up parent conferences

Meeting regularly with schoolteachers and guidance counselors on behalf of Huntington students

Assessing and monitoring student progress and making alterations to individual student programs as required

Participating in local community and school-based marketing initiatives

Administering initial evaluations and assisting new students

Typical Hours: 10am to 8pm
