Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:

Req1 : Principal Engineer ( Level16)

Programming Languages

Proficiency in backend languages such as Python and bash scripts.

Knowledge of working on some of the Python web frameworks such as flask/Django.

Understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and concurrency concepts.

API Development

Experience in designing, developing, and managing RESTful API services.

Database Management

Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Skills in database design, management, and optimization.

Microservices and Containerization

Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker.

Knowledge on CloudSQL / Cloud Storage / messaging and queuing techniques (Redis, pub/sub) would be a great value.

Experience with Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications, especially on GCP would be plus.

Security

Understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices.

Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and other security protocols for secure API access.

Testing

Knowledge of writing unit, integration, and functional tests.

Version Control

Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git, and understanding of Git workflows.

Other requirements

Good communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment consists of interacting with various teams across different time zones.

Ability to lead the technical project discussions.
