What we’re looking for: Lead for KYC

(Grade :: GM/DGM of KYC)

We're seeking an experienced and proactive KYC Lead (GM/DGM of KYC Department) with fintech expertise.This role is all about developing and implementing strategies to elevate customer experience through profound product and technology insights. We need someone who's not just passionate and positive but also takes full ownership of projects.A comprehensive understanding of RBI guidelines is pivotal to ensure compliance while refining our video KYC process.

Key Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on video KYC, overseeing a team of vKYC team supervisors, and analysts for India Operations.

Team Building: Recruit and develop a multilingual, performance-driven team in a fast-paced environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Operations Management: Manage day-to-day activities of the vKYC team, defining and delivering performance metrics. Ensure continuous operation of systems, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for office or WFH setups.

Process Optimization: Continuously work towards improving process and system efficiencies, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to streamline operations. Leverage technology and automation to optimize the video KYC process.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and guidelines while conducting video KYC. Stay informed about changes in regulations and update the video KYC process accordingly. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to video KYC.

Stakeholder Management: Manage both internal and external stakeholders, including KYC team, Member support team, vendors, 2nd LOD, QA, and Product/Tech teams. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to align over processes and standards.

Process Improvement: Assist to Director KYC in creating processes to meet rigorous vKYC standards while building efficiency with a data-driven approach.

Who will be Right:

Education and Experience: Engineering background with MBA(Masters’ degree preferably from a Tier-A institute), with at least 10 to 13 years of experience (including 2 years+ in vKYC ).

Leadership Skills: Highly motivated and proven leader with excellent team-building and management skills.

Proactiveness: Decisive, goal-oriented, and proactive individual capable of handling change and ambiguity.

Collaboration:Working closely with Talent and People partners as well as internal trainers to ensure the ongoing recruitment, upskilling, and retention of top-tier employees.

Analytical Skills: Highly data-driven with proficiency in handling MIS/Excel reports. Experience in working with Dialers is preferred.

Process Orientation: Process-oriented with a keen eye for identifying gaps and bringing efficiencies within the system.

Forecasting Abilities: Capable of forecasting changes in operational requirements backed up by data.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or as required.

Analytical and Organisational Skills: Strong organizational skills coupled with an ability to identify trends, recurring issues, and implement innovative workflows and solutions.

Finance Industry Background: Experience in KYC service within the finance industry is preferred, with a bonus for those who have worked in startup environments.
