REPORTS TO: VP of Sales and Strategy, Research and Health Plans

DEPARTMENT: Corporate Strategy

HOURS: 40 Hours

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

Location: Midtown, NY

Job Type: Full Time/Hybrid

Salary Range: $95,000 - $135,000

DESCRIPTION: The Corporate Strategy Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting Healthix’s Corporate Strategy department. The primary focus will be on enhancing engagement with community and health industry partners, both existing and prospective, across various initiatives and services. Within the Corporate Strategy group, support extends to Life Science, Research, Community, City and State initiatives. Currently, our key priority lies in promoting the Value Based Care (VBC) report dashboard, Focus360, targeting organizations using Value Based care.

The Engagement Specialist will spearhead the implementation of a sales strategy tailored to address the specific needs and challenges of our customers. This involves offering comprehensive solutions rather than merely focusing on sales. Responsibilities include engaging potential partners and customers, crafting compelling messaging points, developing sales materials, and overseeing the sales process from inception to closure. Furthermore, the role entails nurturing relationships beyond the sales cycle to ensure sustained engagement and satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide essential support to Corporate Strategy initiatives, including those related to Life Science, Research, and Community City and State projects.

• Proactively engage potential partners and customers, effectively communicating the value proposition of Healthix’s offerings and service.

• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with qualified leads and opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle.

• Generate sales materials, including presentations, proposals, and collateral, to support the sales process and effectively communicate key messages.

FOCUS 360 SUPPORT

Conduct thorough market research to understand the needs, challenges, and trends within the IPA/ACO market and how these requirements overlap with the population health and value-based care needs of FQHCs.

Identify and prioritize sales opportunities within targeted IPA/ACO segments.

Collaborate with marketing and innovations teams to develop key messaging points that resonate with IPA/ACO decision-makers.

Create persuasive sales materials, presentations to showcase the value proposition of FOCUS360.

Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, clinicians, and IT professionals.

Maintain a tight feedback loop with Product Managers and Project Managers working on Focus360 projects – communicate the “voice of the customer” to internal teams and ensure that customer priorities are factored into release plans.

Work closely with Data Strategy and other Healthix teams to communicate data quality issues impacting the value of Focus360 and help drive priorities for addressing issues most important to our customers.

Provide training and support to other Healthix staff members to enhance their understanding of FOCUS360 features, benefits, and sales strategies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management or related field, or a combination of education and experience.

Proven track record of success in sales roles, preferably in healthcare technology or software sales.

Deep understanding of value-based care models, population health management, and the dynamics of IPA/ACO organizations.

Familiarity with health data relevant to quality measures and the challenges of acquiring data needed to close gaps and improve health outcomes.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to assess market opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.

Experience in Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
