Paid Training and Employment for IT Jobs. Receive $17/hr to gain skills and experience needed to succeed in the Information Technology industry. Program provided through The Excalibur Group in Washington, D.C.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

Choose between the Google IT Support Certificate OR the Meta Database Engineer Professional Certificate.

Google IT Support: Learn a wide variety of topics that range from computer hardware, computer software, customer service, system administration, and more.

Meta Database Engineer Professional: Learn how to create, manage, and manipulate databases, as well as industry-standard programming languages and software such as SQL, Python, and Django used for supporting outstanding websites and apps like Facebook, Instagram, and more.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 20 years old.

Must reside in DC.

Education

If you don’t have a bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma or GED is required.

If you do have a bachelor’s degree, you must provide documentation that you are from a low- or moderate-income household.

PROGRAM BENEFITS:

Classes and certifications take up to 6 weeks to complete

$17.00 an hour paid weekly directly from DC government

Employment placement assistance after training for position valued up to $50k and more
