We are a fast-growing, award-winning insurance agency in need of a sales-focused telemarketer who's looking for a great opportunity. As a Telemarketing Representative, you will be generating sales appointments in addition to prospecting for new business opportunities. You will be contacting leads that come from warm calling and agency-provided marketing. You will learn all the ins and outs of sales and financial services from a 35-year vet.
Great earnings (base plus bonus) for a self-starter interested in getting into the insurance and financial services industry. This is an entry-level sales opportunity that can lead to an agency producer role. Potential to enter our prestigious Protege Agent Sales Program (possibility to own an agency in the future). This is a high-activity position and you'll be expected to meet or exceed minimum daily activity metrics.
Hourly Wage: Based on experience; this is a bonus-driven sales opportunity. Only licensed producers can earn commission income.

Responsibilities
Generate insurance quotes by obtaining prospects' information and entering data into our CRM (salesforce.com)
Schedule sales appointments for agents to meet prospective customers
Warm calls, direct email, text, & possible door knocking, in addition to performing other lead-generation activities
Manage and track dials, phone time, and sales quotas as determined by the agency owner
Input data into CRM, recording notes and pertinent info from the prospect interaction
Develop ongoing networking relationships with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, auto dealers, local businesses, etc.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year prior successful inside sales or telemarketing experience (insurance or financial service agency experience preferred)
Ability to pass both the Texas P&C License exam within 90 days of hire and the Texas Life Insurance license exam within 180 days
Must have your own reliable vehicle (no Uber or family-shared vehicles)
Minimum education: High School Grad or higher
Pass a background check
Awesome at generating quotes and sales appointments from a cold start
A confident self-starter with a sense of urgency; works well independently and with other salespeople
A driven, confident, and goal-oriented individual who possesses a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and most important, coachable - no ego's here!
