Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

MindCare Solutions is a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health solutions for acute care facilities. We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated and collaborative group.

Compensation: $120,000 per year + Bonus Opportunities

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate a patients' mental health status

Formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical findings

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary

Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects

Perform med floor and ed consults with patients

Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Offers education and support to patients regarding mental health conditions and treatment options

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards

Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions

Qualifications:

Certified Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in TX

Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide)

Direct experience with acute care facilities is preferred as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Active and unrestricted driver's license
