Job Details:

Blazerjobs Recruiting Advisor is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for a contract position in Ypsilanti, MI. This position involves providing resource support to students ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

Provide support and instruction to students in inclusive classroom settings.

Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure the implementation of appropriate accommodations and modifications.

Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and participation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).

Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.

Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities and/or special needs.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
