As the Vice President of Human Resources, you will lead the entirety of HR operations. You'll serve as a strategic and functional guide, directing the company's HR initiatives to align seamlessly with our overarching business strategy.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule, 4x a week in office in Boston area.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborating closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to advance company-wide objectives.

Providing leadership across HR functions, including compensation, recruitment, training, talent management, diversity initiatives, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations.

Spearheading efforts to attract, recruit, onboard, and retain diverse talent, strategically aligning with our growth trajectory.

Partnering with department heads to comprehend hiring needs and sync talent acquisition strategies with our expansion goals.

Utilizing recruitment metrics and analytics to gauge the effectiveness of talent acquisition and HR operations.

Overseeing HR administration, encompassing payroll, benefits, and HRIS management.

Driving compensation, performance appraisal, and goal-setting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Participating in relevant Board meetings and Compensation Committee sessions.

Managing US and global benefit programs, continuously evaluating market standards to uphold competitive benefits offerings.

Ensuring HR technology supports current and future business objectives.

Crafting and executing strategies that foster employee engagement, retention, and development.

Staying abreast of evolving multi-state laws, regulations, and employment standards.

Developing, revising, and maintaining policies and procedures to effectively meet organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, including leadership roles and team management.

Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field.

Proven experience in HR leadership, with a track record of achieving results.

Success within fast-paced, innovative biotech/life sciences environments.

Direct involvement with executive and non-executive compensation; experience in incentive sales compensation preferred.

Executive presence, with the ability to lead and inspire by example.

High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

Flexibility to adapt priorities based on business needs.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Efficient, independent worker with a drive for results.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
