Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Pacific International has been retained by a global Fortune 200 multi-industrial manufacturing organization providing engineered technologies to several growing markets. To continuously improve their operations, they are consistently assessing their processes, efficiencies, and organizational mindset - all while striving for excellence to ensure high quality products and maintain their well-established position as an industry leader in the market.

This site is currently undergoing a large transformation in quality and is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team and help drive the quality culture for a key manufacturing site. This person is going to be providing technical support to operations to improve customer satisfaction and quality-related performance for the site. They will be the quality leader for the site and will support quality related root cause analysis, customer complaint communications, non-conforming product dispositioning, and technical continuous improvement programs. In addition, the quality engineer will use data analysis, technical knowledge, and a strong quality mindset to support the product quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field.

At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Applied knowledge and experience working with Quality Management System requirements such as ISO 9001:2015.

Experience interfacing with Customers and Suppliers on quality and technical issues.

Experience leading root cause analysis and developing effective corrective/preventative actions.

Demonstrated proficiency with Statistical Analysis software (MiniTab or JMP preferred).

Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.

Demonstrated proficiency conducting Measurement System Analysis.

Delivers clear verbal and written messages effectively to a diverse audience.

Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is desired.
