8-10 years of experience in financial services tax (capital markets and/or trading experience preferred)

Deep understanding of partnership relevant ASC 740 and IAS 12 workpapers and memorandums.

Key Responsibilities: Tax Director Trading Firm

Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the firm's tax position while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Oversee the preparation and filing of domestic and foreign tax returns (income, VAT, GST), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Provide guidance on tax implications for various trading strategies and financial products.

Collaborate with internal teams to assess the tax impact of new initiatives and investment opportunities.

Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts to the firm.

Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
