Experienced Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Description

We are looking for EXPERIENCED CNC machinists to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in and out of machine using a lifting device such as an overhead hoist or by hand depending on part size and weight.

Responsible for meeting standard production timeframes established for setup and cycle times.

Responsible for minor machine offsets and tool changes.

Performs some follow-up operations, such as deburring, polishing, grinding and prepping the part for shipping.

This may include sending the part through the wash tank.

Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.

Occasional use of manual or electric pallet jack.

Documents QA inspections.

Perform regular cleaning and preventive maintenance on CNC machines

Successfully manage multiple assignments through effective time prioritization and time management.

Work with necessary contacts to define project lists and priorities.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties.

3+ years prior CNC Machining experience.

High School Diploma or GED
