Machine Operator

Job Description

- Operate machines efficiently; fine tune and troubleshoot as needed .

- Pull excess and defective rubber off the beads and place in appropriate bins for re-use or to recycle.

- Responsible for feeding rubber into the extruder

- Handle changing from one spec to another as determined by production schedule; preform drum changes and push bead cord from bead station to APEX station as needed

- Conduct visual checks to look for defects in the rubber and to ensure appropriate coating on the beads

- Set up machines for use and complete inspection checklist

- The shifts are 12hrs and rotate every Month (7AM-:7:30pm or 7PM-7:30AM) You must be willing to work BOTH shifts
