Medical Assistant - Berkley/Rochester locations

Job Description

Our practice is growing and we are adding two full-time medical assistants to our team! Berkley and Rochester are satellite offices and share one staff that goes between the two offices. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a positive attitude, and great work ethic.

Duties:

Triage the patients by thoroughly completing the patients vitals, reconciling medications and history, and perform an EKG

Assist physicians/mid-levels while they see the patients including transcribing data

Create orders and fill out billing slips

Create and refill prescriptions as per office protocols

Complete medical forms such as FMLA, Disability, and orders

Chart prep prior to visits to ensure easy wrokflow while seeing patients

Answer calls and communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals

Other misc. duties as needed

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant experience preferred

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with medical terminology

Strong attention to detail and is organized

The schedule is as follows:

Mondays: Rochester

Tuesdays: Berkley

Wednesdays: Berkley

Thursdays: Rotates both location every other week

Fridays: Berkley
