Equipment Technician - Managed Pressure Drilling

Job Description

Pruitt is seeking candidates for an Equipment Technician on site at our Fort Smith, AR facility. Incumbent will install, test and maintain MPD (oilfield) equipment including MPD choke manifolds, actuated and manual isolation valves, etc.

Pruitt is Q1 certified and a strict adherence to Quality Standards are a must. Technicians in this position work in a job that is very hands-on and intensely mechanical in nature. Incumbent will be responsible for preparing equipment for mobilization and demobilization of equipment packages and must be available for after hours/weekend work when these events occur outside of normal working hours.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 months experience working in a position requiring material management job duties as well as 6 months experience working in an industrial setting (experience may include work in mechanical, construction, fabrication, etc. type environments). Candidate selected will be mechanically inclined and able to work without direct supervision. Candidates with an understanding of hydraulic and/or electrical systems; experience in automotive mechanics, or who have experience working with oilfield equipment are encouraged to apply.
