We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various housekeeping and maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility.

Responsibilities:

Clean, sweep, mop, and vacuum designated areas within the facility.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms and assigned areas.

Ensure safety on stairs, ramps, and sidewalks by removing snow, ice, and other potential hazards.

Wash facility laundry, remove debris, and wash windows as needed.

Utilize hand-operated, power scrubbing, waxing, and vacuuming equipment efficiently.

Perform minor repairs to building fixtures and equipment.

Maintain facility grounds by watering, fertilizing, trimming, and cultivating lawns, flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Perform routine preventative maintenance on grounds-keeping equipment.

Empty trash cans, pick up debris, and clean pavement to uphold cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is a plus.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.

Ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently under general supervision.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Basic understanding of minor repairs and maintenance tasks is desirable.
