Kitchen Tune-Up of Bethesda, Potomac & Gaithersburg is growing at an exciting pace! We are seeking a Cabinet Installer/Cabinet Technician to join our team and complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are seeking career-minded remodelers or construction professionals who are willing to learn new techniques and are looking for a stable, well-paying career.

This is a hands-on position, and the ability to safely operate power hand tools is required. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet re-dooring, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects.

We communicate.Duties and Responsibilities:

Arrive to the job site on time in a logoed shirt and appropriate work clothing.

Follow instructions given by the project manager.

Follow Kitchen Tune-Ups customer service Trustpoints on every project and job site.

Keep work area clean and orderly, and clean up daily.

Communicate with the project manager daily about the progress.

Prepare job site for projects and break down and clean up when complete.

Perform simple cabinet modifications.

Perform door, panel, drawer, and hardware installations.

Perform cabinet storage solution installations.

Measure, cut, and install veneer and moldings (ISC, OSC, toe kick, baseboards, casings, crown, etc.).

Work quickly and efficiently.

Work well as part of a team.

Respect customers and their homes.Skills and Requirements:

Stellar work ethic

Strong carpentry skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions

Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level

Able to drill for hinges

Able to install doors and drawer fronts

Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets

Able to cut and install moldings and trim, including crown molding

Able to safely operate power hand tools, including a drill, table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun

Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time

Able to work in Montgomery County and surrounding counties

Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform the tasks required

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.Additional Skills (preferred but not required)

Prior experience in cabinet refacing

Prior experience in painting cabinets

Prior experience in cabinet resurfacing
