About DiLandro Andrews Engineering, PLLC:

DiLandro Andrews is a full-service engineering firm serving architects, owners, and contractors on Long Island. Based in Southampton, New York, our team has extensive experience in engineering analysis and design relating to the construction and renovation of custom luxury homes, commercial buildings, and estates.

We are looking for a full-time Energy Rating Coordinator to join our growing team. This person will support the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (“MEP”) Department, and the Energy Rating team, and complete energy evaluations under the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) or in accordance with other codes such as the New York State Energy Stretch Code.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks, have excellent communication skills, and great attention to detail. Competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and the opportunity to grow into a higher responsibility role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients in-person, on the phone, and via e-mail to gather necessary information and answer questions as needed

Request, receive, and review required initial information and documents to help facilitate the Energy rating

Organize and track the status of all Energy Rating projects, tasks, and assignments

Assist the Energy raters and MEP Department Head with creating deliverables and sending them to the client

Monitor the status of construction projects to ensure compliance with Energy Rating inspections

Maintain an inspection calendar and assist the Energy raters as needed to guarantee timely inspections

Complete Energy Ratings for submittal to Building Departments for Permit

Qualifications:

Certified HERS Rater (preferred by not required. Candidate will be required to complete this training and gain Certification)

Associate degree

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software tools quickly

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

1-2+ years of experience in project management (preferred but not required)

Knowledge of Monday, Ajera, and AutoCAD (preferred but not required)

Competitive salary, $60,000-70,000.00 annual range, commensurate with skills and experience.
