DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in installation and repair of rigging, and in hoisting and positioning machinery, equipment, and structural parts aboard ships.
Supervises shipboard rigging as well as loft-rigging, assembling of docking cradle and assist Production Manager during docking and undocking operations.
Supervises fabrication of safety nets, lifting wire, mooring rope and belts.
Prepare and supervise heavy load lifting and shifting.
Conducts inspection of all rigging gears such as wire rope, lifting belt, chain hoist. Shackle and wire hoist.
Coordinate status of rigging job to higher authority.
Analyze blue print lifting operations.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Education:
Graduate of vocational course and/or Engineering related courses
Experience:
At least 5-10 years supervisory related experiences in a shipyard industry.
Others:
Good communication and personal relation skills
Computer literate
