Job Description

Responsibilities for cooking according to airline customized menu and established procedures/recipes. The job includes sautéing, poaching, baking, grilling, and sauce preparation, as well as working with broilers, fryers, grills, ovens, and stovetop cooking. Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature. Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. Interpret specifications and implement HACCP procedures, which include proper temperature controls. Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices set by LSG Sky Chefs and FDA/ USDA/HACCP and our customers. Actively participate in customer presentations, menu design, and implementation. Additional responsibilities may be added as deemed necessary.Company Description
