Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball

The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in executing the organization, administration and coaching of the Women's Basketball program.

Duties: The assistant coach will: * Promote a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching Women's Basketball and assist the head coach in preparing the team for competition at the highest level possible.

* Assist in recruiting and retaining student-athletes.

* Assist the head coach in supervising volunteer assistants.

* Support the head coach in meeting fundraising goals.

* Reports facility or equipment deficiencies or ideas and recommendations to the head coach.

* Support the head coach in promoting a positive and collaborative partnership with the athletic department and physical plant leadership.

* Drive college or rental vehicle for away competition or team official functions.

* Collect and submit team game statistics.

* Support and assist, when appropriate, in all team student-athlete success programs.

* Display a commitment to equality in player development and training.

* Provide student-athletes with a supportive and inclusive environment.

* Support head coach's off- season team activities for player development and engagement.

* Comply with all College and USCAA, policies and procedures / rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate Basketball program.

* Act as a mandatory reporter for student issues and concerns and potential Title IX and College Code of Conduct violations.

* Coach as a professional, mentor, and excellent representative of the values of Bucks County Community College.

* Participate in athletic department sponsored student-athlete functions or special events.

Minimum Qualifications: * Experience in coaching intercollegiate or high school athletics.

* Knowledge and experience coaching Women's Basketball.

* Knowledge of NCAA, USCAA, or NJCAA rules and compliance.
