POSITION SUMMARY: The 2nd Shift Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Fabrication Equipment in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.

Coordinates job priorities with Team Leader and the Production Supervisor.

Position is Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12:30am.

Overtime on Friday & Saturday, if needed.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Set-up and operate fabrication equipment, not limited to Core-Drill, Trim Saws, Grinders and CNC Lathe, in accordance with established procedures.

* Inspects product using proper gauges.

* Monitor workmanship quality to minimize scrap.

* Maintain the equipment area in a clean and organized manner.

* Maintain a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures.

* Troubleshoot problems and work with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve.

* Provide and maintain accurate production records.

* Follow safety procedures and guidelines.

* Perform equipment maintenance as needed.

* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.

May need to work Saturdays, variable scheduled(s) and additional hours as necessary.

* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Experience/Background: * 2 years' experience in set-up and running of fabrication equipment preferred * 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent preferred * CNC experience preferred * Experience with tooling and fixtures preferred * This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a U.S.

person or protected individual within the meaning of ITAR.

Skills: * Ability to use micrometers and calipers * Ability to read & interpret blueprints * General computer skills * Good mathematical skills * Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English * Must be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team player * Must have high levels of attention to detail and quality, be able to multitask and stay organized * Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally * Must be able to occasionally move about in production areas as needed Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent * AA degree or technical school diploma in electromechanical technology or related field preferred ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Manufacturing / Non-Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.

Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment.

Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb.

May have possible exposure to dust and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.

Reports to: Fabrication Production Supervisor 2.

Positions which report to: None 3.

Advises, consults, and coordinates with: Production Supervisor, Team Leader, QA, Plant Manager, HR, and other departments as required.
