PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Logistics Coordinator in supervising and setting direction for all Logistics teams on-site to ensure best use of all company resources and adherence to all company policies and state and federal regulations.

Monitors the use of equipment, materials, and tools to effectively utilize all resources, maximize production, and minimize costs after becoming familiar with the scope of work and site conditions. Collaborates with the Logistics Coordinator on all scheduled activities.

Provides oversight for adherence to all Work Instructions. Assists Logistics Coordinator in process improvement efforts.

Provides support as a technical consultant to all field personnel in the areas of receiving, material handling, staging, quality inspections, and offload safety.

Manages and is responsible for safe working conditions and safety procedures on the project, more particularly for specific disciplines. Understands and enforces company, job site-specific, federal, and state safety regulations on site and addresses any concerns with the Logistics Coordinator. Will be responsible within work discipline for the utilization of best safety practices reinforce employee training for work methods, emphasis on special risks, equipment, lifting, DOT requirements, site conditions, telehandlers, Star cards, accident injury management, offload safety hazards, LOTO (all as apply).

Communicate with the Logistics Coordinator to update him/her on project problem areas and the specific status of the project.

Conducts oneself with a professional and respectful demeanor while interacting with all internal and external individuals. The Foreman is expected to create a collaborative environment with front-line supervision, craft, subcontractors, vendors, and the Owner to continually improve the company’s delivery performance.

Monitors crew labor and equipment efficiencies and provides feedback to the Logistics Coordinator and Logistics Supervisor on performance and improvement opportunities.

Completes all necessary reports in a timely and legible manner, including FM Daily Reports, Quality documentation, Material Requests, and B2W.

Performs 100% quality check on all work performed by craft labor.

Understands the scope of work per the contract.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform additional assignments per the supervisor’s direction.

Assists Logistics Coordinator with documenting time including phase codes.

Provides accurate, daily reporting of work productivity by phase code.

Familiarize themselves with site conditions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Inventory management and Material Handling experience.

Must be an experienced Forklift and Skid steer operator.

Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).

Ability to manage and supervise multiple employees.

Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations.

Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees.

Relocation to the community of the project site is required.

Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents.

Target Hourly Rate $30-38/HR
