Our client is a distinguished premier full service large-sized law firm in the heart of Downtown Toronto. They are currently seeking a Corporate/Commercial Legal Assistant to join their team and support one partner.

Your new role

As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role within the law firm. Your tasks will involve preparing legal documents, conducting research, managing case files, and providing essential administrative support. Working closely with the lawyers, you will demonstrate your ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this position, we are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in Financial Services or Corporate Law, and must have successfully completed a community college legal assistant course. Knowledge of Workshare Compare or a similar document comparison program and knowledge of PPSA and supporting documents are highly preferred. Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) is also required.
